Tyler Perry On Oprah, When actor and director Tyler Perry – better known for plays and films involving the fictional character Madea – appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” recently opened to Oprah about his painful past, which includes abuse physical and sexual.
As Meaghan Morris in sheknows.com reports, Tyler, literally, talked about everything that happened all his horrible childhood, including severe beatings they suffer at the hands of his father and the depression that resulted in him trying to commit suicide .
Perry also revealed that the television presenter who was sexually abused by four different adult, with the first incident occurring when he was only 5 or 6 years old. Tyler recalled one time his father severely beat him, especially since I could not change a tire correctly.
However, Tyler went on to say that although his father never issued an apology, which ultimately forgiven to reach their twenties. The revealing interview had a purpose and according to Perry – to open the eyes of other men who have been affected by abuse.
