Tulisa Says She Has No Regrets About Sex Tape, X FACTOR judge Tulisa Contostavlos has opened her heart about her sex tape shame – but insists she has no regrets. The singer’s world was rocked last month when a sex tape emerged on the internet of her and ex-lover MC Ultra, aka Justin Edwards.
Today, she says: “I could sit all day long saying I wish I’d never done this or met that person but at the end of the day, with the position I’m in, I can’t exactly complain.
“Everything’s taken me to the place that I’m in and made me the person I am. It just makes you stronger, doesn’t it?”
While most stars would have hidden away, Tulisa released a video on the internet to explain to fans what had happened.
In the tearful video confession she said: “I am devastated, heartbroken. When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love and trust, you never imagine for one minute that footage may at any point be shared with the rest of the UK.”
Her direct response stunned the music industry but Tulisa insists problems should be dealt with directly.
She said: “Don’t just ignore it – directly deal with it. Everyone always feels it’s best to ignore things and leave it, but I don’t believe that.”
