TSA Screening, Changes in security rules at some airports may make it easier for passengers age 75 and older to get on a plane.

They will no longer have to take off their shoes or light clothing as part of the TSA screen process.

Beginning March 19, four airports will test the news procedure. They are in Chicago, Denver, Orlando and Portland.

At the Santa Barbara Airport, the latest change involves the installation of advanced imaging technology to do a full scan of passengers. That procedure takes about five seconds.
