Travis Barker, Travis Barker’s lawyers have sent a cease and desist letter to urban gossip website MediaTakeout.com after he was identified in a blind post which posted the mobile phone pictures and reported that an “unnamed musician had sent them to a female admirer.”
The Blink 182 drummer was never named, but readers were quickly able to identify Barker’s private parts by his tattoos and soon the photos were circulating around the Internet. His lawyers are calling it an “unauthorized use of private photos.”
According to TMZ, the photos are more than 5 years old and were “private and never intended for public viewing or to be seen by anyone else.”
The photos have since been taken down after Travis Barker’s lawyers sent the cease and desist letter, but not before the story garnered over 400,000 views.
