Transformers Fall Of Cybertron

Transformers Fall Of Cybertron, Although Grimlock, the transforming Tyrannosaurs Rex, was already known to be in the game the new trailer shows him in action in both robot and dinosaur mode. It also features the combined form of the Combaticons, hinting at some very different kinds of Transformers in the final game.

Activision granted us a sneak peek of the trailer last week and we’ll have an extended interview with the game’s developers – High Moon Studios – on Monday morning, but for now we can only talk about what’s in the trailer.

Controlling a giant metal transforming dinosaur (the other Dinobots are in the game, but aren’t in the trailer) is all we’ve ever wanted from a video game but the presence of Bruticus is also interesting.

Bruticus is one of several Transformers who is made up of a combined form of five or six other robots. In this case you can see the five Combaticons coming together to form his torso and limbs, before taking on the Autobots in a battle for their planet of Cybertron.

Other Transformers we spotted in the trailer include Optimus Prime, Bumblebee (apparently gravely injured), Jazz, Ironhide and Grimlock on the good guys’ side and Megatron, Soundwave, Bruticus, and Starscream (or possibly Thrust) for the Decepticons.
