Tracy Morgan Apology, Gay rights groups have called on Tracy Morgan apologize June 3 for a bit he did at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville in which the comedian says have claimed that being gay is a choice, that hmosxlity is something that Children learn from the media, and gay young victims of bullying are just “whining.” And now it has. In a statement to social services live, Morgan says: “I apologize to my fans and the lsbn & gay community for my choice of words on my recent act of standing in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and do not tolerate any violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club that clearly went too far and was not funny in any context. ”
But the Human Rights Campaign says it is not enough. The civil rights group said in a statement that the star of 30 Rock is “a role model.” Fred Sainz, president of HRC HRC vice president of communications, said in a statement that Morgan “has to go beyond apologies and correct the record: no one should feel ashamed for being lsbn, gay, bisexual or transgender and definitely should not become a victim of violence. … Until you do something significant, its brand will remain tarnished. ”
According to the truth wins out, an audience member at the fair said that Morgan Morgan called on President Obama to “man” and stop talking about Le****n, Gay, and Bisexual and Transgender children.
GLAAD President Jarret Barrios asked Morgan this morning in a statement to “eliminate these violently anti-gay comments in your program and send a strong message that anti-gay violence is not a joke.”
