Toyota Recall Canada

Toyota Recall Canada, Toyota is recalling more than 47,000 vehicles in Canada to fix potential problems with the driver’s airbag and a switch that can prevent vehicles from starting. Toyota said it is not aware of “any accidents or injuries caused by these two conditions.”

The faulty cable recall affects 17,178 Tacoma trucks in Canada and 495,000 in the United States with model years of 2005 to 2009. The stop-lamp recall affects 2,740 Camry vehicles and 27,737 Venzas in Canada with models years 2009 through 2011, plus 70,500 Camry and 116,000 Venza vehicles in the U.S.

Toyota said it was in the process of obtaining the necessary parts and would notify owners when they become available. Repairs will be conducted at no charge.
