Toy Story Fashion Line

Toy Story Fashion Line, So, this is weird. A Hong Kong-based designer called Bossini has partnered with Pixar to create a line of Toy Story 3 themed clothing in adult sizes. This is definitely not what I was hoping for when I wished certain items of children’s clothing would fit me.

According to GeekSugar, the line will include men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing and will be available in select Disney stores across the U.S., “though it will be very difficult to find.” Looking through the entire collection, it would seem some items (t-shirts, hoodies) are relatively wearable, while others are less so.

I can’t vouch for how an adult human’s brain might change after having kids, but I’m having trouble figuring out who the target consumer is for this line. I have no doubt many parents enjoyed taking their spawn to this movie, as it’s better than a lot of the other sh*t kids like, but did they like it enough to dress up like it? (And yes, by “it” I mean the movie itself.) Outside of Toy Story playtime with the kids, I mean? At the risk of sounding un-P.C., it seems like the only grown-ups who’d want to run around in Toy Story costumes are people who are still…young at brain. And I doubt there are enough of those kinds of people out there to support an entire (probably overpriced) line of clothing.
