Tour Championship 2010

September 23, 2010 by staff

Tour Championship 2010, It’s 90 degrees today in Atlanta, and the heat seems to be taking its toll on the East Lake Golf Course and the 30 players in the 2010 Tour Championship. The course is still very difficult today with all the players on the field; Geoff Ogilvy is the leader with a whopping three through 10 holes. Outside the field of 30 people, only 10 players are on par or higher. THAT is a tough day! Matt Kuchar and Dustin Johnson were last to tee off, and are 7 holes with two and four more in, respectively. Phil Mickelson is playing pretty well today, considering the difficulties, is currently in an envelope to 9.

Currently, the main problem seems to be the greens. I’ve never seen so many missed putts in a short period of hours. They are firm and fast and seemingly very difficult to gauge. Those who have discovered – Ogilvy, K.J. Choi, Jim Furyk and Luke Donald – who are doing well.
