Tornado In Flagstaff

Tornado In Flagstaff, Interstate 40 is open from Flagstaff and Williams after tornadoes hit early Wednesday morning.

The Department of Transportation Arizona said debris was affecting traffic on a number of highways and roads in the Flagstaff area.

Traffic backups were occurring along I-40 west of Flagstaff because of the storms and debris on the road.

180 U.S. reopened its doors in the north of Kendrick Park area ADOT Flagstaff after crews removed the tree debris caused by storms Wednesday.

A number of ADOT crews worked to clear debris in areas near the community of Bellemont, about 15 miles west of Flagstaff.

Drivers are advised to use extreme caution and slow down.

The Department of Public Safety has encouraged drivers to avoid traveling along I-40 between Flagstaff and Williams until conditions improve.
