Tommy John Surgery

August 27, 2010 by staff

Tommy John Surgery, With Stephen Strasburg, apparently for not having the elbow in slices with Tommy John surgery is ironic that the Washington Nationals last night finally saw one of his pitchers return of the same operation.

Jordan Zimmermann return should buoy the spirits of the fans who care if national release Strasbourg again. But the example of Zimmermann is also a reminder of how long Strasbourg could be gone. Exactly 399 days had passed since Zimmerman had surgery. And it was not at all effective, lasting just four innings while allowing five runs and seven hits, including 400th career dinger Albert Pujols.
