The defense attorney said the judge’s order was “made with reckless disregard for due process of Mrs. Anthony and civil rights,” according to The Boston Herald.
Mason also cited a fear for the safety of Anthony if he would return to Orange County.
After her acquittal, the defense attorney said Anthony has received numerous death threats. His motion stated that if Anthony returned to Florida, “put in great danger, and to impose a high cost to taxpayers to ensure their safety.”
For example, the movement included mason a death threat directed against Anthony.
“Keep smiling,” a photograph with a point in front of Anthony said. “With very large forehead, shot in the head, it will be easier.”
Strickland is out of the courts of the week and it is unclear who will hear the motion of Mason, according to the Boston Herald. Karen Levey, a spokesman for the administration of the court, said a hearing has not yet been established regarding the case of probation, the newspaper reported.
