Titanic Documentary

Titanic Documentary, National Geographic’s TV channel has kicked off Titanic week – the hundred-year anniversary of the ship’s launch from Southhamptom, England is April 12 and the hundred-year anniversary of the fateful sinking is April 15.

The NatGeo channel is airing a two-part documentary Sunday, April 8 and Monday, April 9. The portion that aired Sunday was titled “Titanic: The Final Word with James Cameron” and featured Cameron, “Titanic” director and deep-sea explorer, working with a team of experts on the doomed ocean liner to conduct the ultimate forensic investigation into the shipwreck. If you missed it, the first part will be rebroadcast Monday, April 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NatGeo and again at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

The second part, debuting Monday, April 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT is titled “Save the Titanic with Bob Ballard” and features Ballard, the man who originally discovered the exact location of the shipwreck in 1985, exploring whether the shipwreck can be preserved.
