Tiki Barber Wedding

November 15, 2011 by staff

Tiki Barber Wedding, Tiki Barber and Traci Lynn Johnson reportedly had to delay their wedding as Barber’s pending divorce from estranged wife Ginny Cha seems to have no end in the future.

Barber met his current fiancĂ©, Johnson, while she was a 22-year-old intern at NBC during his stint as a morning news anchor. A scandal surrounded the couple’s relationship in late April 2010, as Barber was married to his 8-months-pregnant-wife Ginny Cha during their two year affair.

Barber proposed to Johnson, now 24-years-old, earlier this year and the couple has been planning a lavish wedding ceremony scheduled for May in the Hamptons. However, one speed bump in their romance is in the way: He must divorce his wife of eleven years first, and she is not letting him off easy.

According to reports, Ginny is a demanding an expensive alimony for the divorce and the four children she had with the 36-year-old former New York Giants star, totaling a sum he cannot nearly afford. Worse yet, the upcoming wedding will further be delayed if the never-ending divorce proceedings aren’t resolved or Cha settles, which doesn’t seem likely.

“Tiki and Traci cannot get married until the divorce with Ginny is settled, and it’s taking longer than they expected to reach a settlement,” a source told the New York Daily News.

The source said Traci Lynn Johnson had already begun making arrangements for the wedding, including printing up invitations and securing a location. However, Johnson herself has denied these allegations.

“Tiki and I are very excited for the next stage of our lives together, but we have no concrete wedding plans as of yet,” she said, and denied that invitations have been printed.

Traci Lynn Johnson not only has one-time NBC intern and 12-years-older Tiki Barber on her resume, but also Maxim magazine, as she posed scantily-clad in the September issue.

Tiki Barber, who retired after the Giants’ 2007 season, was confirmed to make a comeback this year though the deal never went through, as no team was interested in bringing him in. Barber instead took on a job as a correspondent for “The Today Show” and “Football Night in America,” before NBC fired him citing a moral clause, otherwise known as his affair with then-intern Traci Johnson.
