Quoting the Associated Press, NBC Sports reports that Woods admits to misbehavior, which he regrets. He hints at betraying his values, offers an apology to supporters and proclaims his intent to do better as a husband and also father.
After an attention hungry Jaimee Grubbs replaced a completely unwilling Rachel Uchitel, it is anyone’s guess if it took Tiger Woods some time to muster the courage to confront the media hype. Detractors may find that he is merely doing belated public relations damage control while supporters could find that this effectively ends the speculations.
Since it appears that his hand was finally forced by Jaimee Grubbs and her supposed Tiger Woods text messages, the copious nature of the saved messages makes the entire setup look rather curious.

At the risk of being taken to task again by a Slate columnist for second grade writing – to which he intriguingly posted numerous links – I believe that the Tiger Woods’ text messages – and Jaimee Grubbs, who kept them – merit a second look. Much in the same way that Monica Lewinsky and that infamous blue dress received scrutiny in the wake of the President Clinton sex scandal, here, too, the (alleged) paramour held on and later revealed proof of her illicit relationship.
