Tiger Woods Doral: Tiger Woods & Blue Monster

Tiger Woods Doral: Tiger Woods & Blue Monster, DORAL Bubba Watson started his third round at the WGC-Cadillac Championship Saturday eagle-birdie and the Florida-native holds a two-stroke lead through five holes of play.

Watson leads playing partner Justin Rose by two and a rising Keegan Bradley by four.

Watson’s first three-putt of the tournament came on No. 4 and dropped Watson back to the field — a bit.

Tiger Woods started his third round strong, but enthusiasm has tempered as some wild drives sputtered Woods’ charge.

Woods put his tee shot well left on the par-3 ninth hole, but was able to save par with a flop shot from 47 feet out that smoothly rolled in to the hole.

The par save might have saved some momentum for Woods, who made the turn at 8-under, in a tied for eighth place. Woods bogeyed the eighth hole to drop a stroke.

Woods then birdied the tenth hole. He’s tied for seventh place at 9-under through 10 holes.

Rory McIlroy, who started the day at a blistering pace, could use some of that momentum. A bogey on No. 14 dropped the world’s No. 1 player into a tie for third place. Then a bogey on No. 16 dropped him to sixth.
