Tiger Woods Divorce Settlement, LOS ANGELES – (AFP) Now that Tiger Woods has officially ended her marriage of six years, the golf superstar is hoping the solution will help you fit the downward spiral that has engulfed his life and his golf game.

Woods, who earned an estimated $ 118 million last year in prize money and endorsements, and Swedish model Elin Nordegren announced Monday they have divorced after sex scandal in November.

Divorce is presented as the father of two attempts to get some sense of normalcy back into their personal lives and regain their golf game once powerful.

Its golf course is in disarray after a disappointing tie for 28 in the PGA Championship in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

The result of Wisconsin came just a week after the worst performance of his career, when he finished in last place in the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational. Woods is, without obtaining the victory so far in 2010 and without a grand slam in the last two years.

His last victory was in Australia in November, two weeks before being crushed his car into a tree and a fire hydrant outside his luxury home in Florida, sparking a series of shocking revelations that doomed their marriage and put his free fall game.

Court documents said the Woods and Nordegren divorce because the marriage was “irretrievably broken.” The couple announced on Monday that two parents share the couple’s children, Sam Alexis, born in 2007 and Charlie Axel, born in February last year.

Woods spoke between rounds in the PGA Championship on how life has changed since the crisis of the past nine months and how he plans to go ahead without some of the people who have been part of his inner circle.

“I have (learned) the more so as a person than as a golfer,” he said. “I learned a lot about my real life friends and people I know who will be in my life forever.”

Woods also spoke about how the sex scandal sparked a media frenzy – the price of their power and fame.

“I have paparazzi camped outside the house, hotel, helicopters flying over the range,” he said. “At that point, passing every day. They were following my children wherever he went. Take pictures of everything they were doing. That was very hard. But that has not been the case in recent times. As I that, for me that is a signal that is directed towards normalization. ”

Long seen as an ambassador to a new generation of golfers, Woods former clean-cut image had earned him a record sponsorship deals and a place in the pantheon of elite sports stars, world famous.

That image has been decimated in recent months, as a string of women, including a p3n star, a waitress and a club manager in Las Vegas were linked romantically with Woods.

Rumors quickly swirled that the accident had followed an argument with his wife in a relationship with a New York club hostess Rachel Uchitel, which had previously been reported in the American press.

Before that, his career had looked on track to break some of the most coveted records in sports and golf history.

According to business magazine Forbes, was the first athlete to have broken through the mark of one billion dollars in profits.

Aged just 25, became the first man to win the U.S. Open, British Open, the USPGA and the Masters on a roll to become the first holder of the four simultaneous major championship titles at the same time.

Born in Cypress, California, on December 30, 1975, Tiger Woods is the son of Earl Woods, a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army, and a mother Kultida Thailand.

His parents named him Eldrick, but his late father nicknamed him Tiger in honor of a Vietnamese soldier who had been a good friend.

As a 71-time winner of U.S. PGA with 14 major titles and now in his 15th season of the PGA, Woods does not have to worry about keeping their status on tour while chasing the record of 18 major titles of Jack Nicklaus and 82 U.S. PGA titles Sam Snead.

Woods says he has re-embraced Buddhism to help their rehabilitation, having been taught the faith by his mother.

Woods now takes a Buddhist bracelet at all golf tournaments.

“Life in general, the past nine months has been very difficult,” said Woods in the PGA Championship. “But my father always said” just keep living. “There were a few times I had to say that myself.”
