Tiger Woods Announcement
July 11, 2011 by staff
Tiger Woods Announcement, Tiger Woods appeared on the Golf Channel on Monday morning, but a statement from his agent. It is far from a story that was making the rounds of Sunday night, when many news outlets reported Woods would make an important announcement. His people denied the reports. The Golf Channel decided to play it cool, telling NPR that “wait and see.”
This is what happened at 11 am ET. Hold your breath: Mark Steinberg, who is an agent of Tigre, will join Excel Sports Management. This could richest Tiger. Fin.
Exciting. If you are still awake – this is how the “announcement” of the story has legs. It was reported by CNN on Sunday night, citing a tweet in feed channel, apparently, saying: “Monday 11 am ET: Special Announcement on Tiger Woods on the Golf Channel” took many this means that Tiger would appearing on the channel, but Steinberg told The Associated Press that it was an “erroneous report.” You win, Golf Channel. You. Win.
Woods has not played since the Players Championship, when he was forced to retire with a left knee strain and a strained Achilles tendon. Too much effort for Tiger. Last week he announced he would not play at the British Open, so when the news of this Monday, “The announcement” began to spread, many believed he would be out for the rest of the season.
