The provocative pose may seem nothing unusual for a fashion shoot Vogue – except that Miss Blondeau is only ten years.

Now the shocking images of the French child model have brought the conviction of the parent groups and MPs. It is likely that the spotlight at a summit convened by the Prime Minister, David Cameron and the Mothers’ Union aimed at cracking down on the sexualization of children in advertising and the media.

Fleur Dorrell, Mothers’ Union, yesterday described the images as “physically disturbing” and said they were “fuzzy all thoughts of beauty.”

And Labour MP Helen Goodman Vogue accused of being “outrageous and totally irresponsible” for publishing the photos, saying he should have known better. “They have fallen by the wayside in so doing,” he said.

The sexualization of children is one of the most pernicious ills of our time. Should not have done this. ‘

Born in Ivory Coast, Miss Blondeau is the daughter of Veronica Loubry, a television presenter and actress, and former Sheffield Wednesday and Watford player Patrick Blondeau.

She walked down the catwalk of Jean Paul Gaultier at the age of four years and already has an impressive CV model, with various pictures from magazines to her name.

In Paris, her piercing eyes, waist long hair and pursed lips have brought comparisons with a young Brigitte Bardot, who was only 15 when she modeled for Elle magazine.

However, the spread is 15 pages in an edition of French Vogue editor invited by fashion designer Tom Ford in January that has become the center of current debate over the sexualisation of children.

The entrance of Miss Blondeau in the fashion world follows a recent trend of smaller models.

Hollywood actress Elle Fanning child, 13 and 14 years old Hailee Steinfeld modeling have both recently signed deals with Marc Jacobs and Miu Miu, respectively.

Last night the Mothers’ Union issued a damning critique of Vogue picture is Miss Blondeau.

“We have serious concerns about the modeling agency representing Miss Blondeau, who clearly do not know if it represents a child or an adult,” he said.

“Photo sessions that require it, a ten year old girls to dress in full makeup, heels and a dress wobbles with a neckline cut to the waist through her prepubescent body denied Miss Blondeau right to be the child you are.

Bloggers also attacked images. One of them said in Tumblr: “That is not tense. It’s inappropriate and creepy.”

And the behavior expert Dr. Emma Gray said: “This picture is the antithesis of what children in our society should be, a child exposed to a world that is not yet equipped to deal only to serve the needs of adults around them. ”

Mother’s Union chief executive Reg Bailey has been commissioned to conduct an independent review of the pressures faced by children and, with Mr. Cameron, invited the fashion and advertising to an investigation in October.
