Three-leaved Clover, The three-leaved clover is a quartic plane curve

Alternatively, parametric equation of three-leaved clover is (Fig.(a) on the right):

Or in polar coordinates (x = r cos ?†, y = r sin ?†) (Fig.(b) on the right):

It is a special case of rose curve with k = 3.

This curve has a triple point at the origin (0, 0) and has three double tangents.
