The Rolling Stones, You can’t always have satisfaction, as the Stones sing, but they can write about it.  Hyperion plans publish what it calls the only “authorized book curated by the Rolling Stones to commemorate the band’s 50th anniversary.”

The Rolling Stones: 50 by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood, with new text and previously unpublished photos, is scheduled to be released in the fall.

Hyperion says the Stones have performed live in front of more people than any band in history and have had #1 singles and albums in every country with a popular music chart.

In a statement, Ellen Archer, President and Publisher of Hyperion, says “An anniversary such as this calls for an amazing book. Mick, Keith, Charlie and Ronnie have been hard at work-approaching the book’s content from every conceivable angle-to make it so.”
