The Rite, (UKPA) – Sir Anthony Hopkins insists he does not have a penchant for playing characters frightening.

“I’ll play something,” the legendary star of Wales has insisted on the first of its new Hollywood thriller The Rite.

“If you give me a script and it’s a good script, you know? I played God in Thor, no, I have no preference one way or another,” he insisted.

In the film Sir Anthony plays a priest actively practicing exorcisms in Italy.

The 73-year-old said when it comes to acting; he always tries to find pleasure in everything. ”

Speaking on the red carpet, he explained: “I have a beautiful life, I have a wonderful life I love to play, they still seem to need me, I do not know how long it will go [on] the question: “I. ‘m getting older, but if they offer me a movie I’ll do if I feel I’ll have a good time.”

“I’ve worked with Kenneth Branagh, last year I worked with Woody Allen. I take it easy and enjoy my life, make sure food is good and the location is good!” he laughs.

The actor insisted to The Rite has not convinced some people are haunted by the devil.

“I’m not an expert, I know very little about it but it was an interesting movie to do,” he said.
