The Rachel Haircut

There was a time in the mid-1990s when women besieged halls with photos of the actress to copy her style.
The cut in layers was given the name “The Rachel” character after Jen in the successful series of U.S. TV comedy, Rachel Green. It was the style at first and second seasons of the show.
A person who was not a fan of the haircut, though, was Jennifer herself.
The star, now 41, says the February issue of Allure magazine that was not its best.
“How can I say? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen,” she said. “What I really want to know is how this thing have legs?”
Jen’s longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan came up with the cut. He still works with her today.
