The Queen’s Birthday, One brand of £ 3 was launched on the occasion of Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain next 85 years. The special stamp – issued by Jersey Post – will feature the image of the monarch in her last visit to the British island, situated on the coast of France in 2005, when residents held the 60 Th anniversary of liberation from German occupation forces.

Melanie Gouzinis, philatelic researcher Jersey Post, said: “We liked the idea of?? Using photographs of His Majesty, while she was visiting New Jersey to highlight her affection for the island that is so evident in the images.

The stamps will be issued along with a miniature souvenir sheet in a special presentation pack time Queen’s 85th birthday on 21 April.

In addition to images of the monarch against the crowd in Jersey, the photographs of Elizabeth as a girl will also be included in the bundle of memories.

Ms. Gouzinis added: “As a final touch in the representation of the queen on her birthday, we selected the photographs of her as a young man from the envelopes of the first day.”

“The black and white images show the queen as an elegant young man, at the age of two and nine.”

Meanwhile, the militia of New Jersey 1781 pays homage to the Queen on 21 April with a salvo of 21 cannon shots from their traditional 18th century.
