The Play boy Club Cancelled

“Play boy Club” was canceled, NBC has announced today. The show will be replaced by Brian Williams newsmagazine “,” Rock of the Centre “from October 31. To” Rock Central “airs, however,” Prime Suspect “repeats will air on” The Play boy Club “‘ s time interval.
Although the series was actually finally starting to find a groove, the show was canceled due to abysmal grades: it opened on September 20 was only 5 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in adults 18 – 49 demographic, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The second episode was less qualified, and a 3.8 million-1.3 in the demo, and was the third episode viewers and a rating of less than 3.2-million children and a score of 1.2.
The reason I say that the PTC should be happy is because they were against the series since the beginning. The organization called for a boycott of the series and wanted sponsors to pull their ads from the slot. The organization’s president said the show was “degrading and sexualizing program” and called it a “commercial disaster.” Seven advertisers pull their ads from the series as well.
I personally believe that while “Play boy Club” had a slow start, the program has merit and a good story was unfolding. Perhaps, as a lot of commentators have said on several websites, if the show moved to a network like HBO or Showtime, the series could thrive, and there could be more added to the sample can not be added at the same time the show was in a network like NBC.
