Texas Ranger Fan DiesTexas Ranger Fan Dies, A fan of the Texas Rangers died in Arlington Stadium after falling 20 meters from the outfield wall trying to catch a ball thrown by Josh Hamilton. The team did not disclose the name of the victim who suffered a heart attack would happen in about an hour after the fall.

“We had a very tragic accident tonight, and one of our fans lost their lives reaching over the wall trying to catch a ball. As an organization and as team members and staff, we are very sorry for this, and our thoughts and prayers are with the family, “said team president Nolan Ryan in a statement.

The incident occurred in the second inning, when Oakland Athletic Conor Jackson hit a foul ball and Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton picked up the ball and threw to the fan. The fan was with his son about six to eight years old.

This comes almost exactly a year after another fan, Tyler Morris, fell from second to first level trying to catch a foul ball on July 6, 2010.
