White accomplished a clean victory over his opponents with 76.2% votes according to the Texas election results 2010. Farouk Shami got only 12% votes. He thinks that people of Texas need a new governor because Rick Perry has vetoed many good bills. He is aware of Perry’s strength and has already raised ample funds for the elections. The Democrats badly need an election victory after the Massachusetts upset. Texas governor seat id held by Republicans for the last 16 years White’s victory in Texas gubernatorial elections will change the scenario. White like every other politician is claiming to work for the unemployed.

Rick Perry the outgoing Texas governor with a longest tenure has won the Republican primary election to contest again for the governor’s seat. The 1st woman senator from Texas Kay Bailey Hutchison was contending against him. He secured 53% votes according to the Texas election results 2010. New job creation has remained Perry’s 1st priority and he was able to win more than 600,000 jobs for Texan citizens. He has enhanced the border security. During the recession he has vetoed 6 bills to increase Govt. spending and set a record for using the veto power by a governor.

The Texans will decide for their new governor in November and the real Texas election results 2010 will determine whether the voters want a change or they have confidence in President Obama’s policies.
