Taylor Swift & Tornado Victims, Do what you can to help the needy, Taylor Swift took the unprecedented step of opening the final dress rehearsal for Speak Now Tour for fans to raise funds to benefit victims of recent deadly tornadoes in the Southeast.
The sold-out show raised more than 750,000 while being held in the arena of Bridgestone in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday night (May 21). Talking about the effort, Miss Swift said: “I’ve never opened a trial to the public before, but I felt that invite my fans the last rehearsal for the Tour Speak now would be a good way to raise money.”
Meanwhile, Taylor will have the North American leg of her “Speak now” on-going tour in Omaha, Nebraska, on Friday, May 27. Not to be outdone by Charlie Sheen and his ill-spelled ‘torpedoes Tornados “foundation, Taylor Swift held a benefit concert in Nashville, Tuesday night to help those who lost their homes last month during the devastating storms that hit the southeast. The approved Maxim hottie raised more than 750,000 and charity while doing the final rehearsal of her tour Speak Now, continuing the “golden girl” recently upgraded look on the cover of InStyle.
