Taylor Swift Sparks Fly, Taylor Swift has released her new song and music video, “Sparks Fly”, which shows pictures of her current “Speak Now” tour.
The 21-year-old Grammy-winning country pop singer has captivated audiences this summer with its theme of romance-concert U.S. including spectacular costumes, dancers, fireworks, acrobats on a tightrope and a wedding scene.
“Sparks Fly” is the fifth single, “Speak Now”, Swift’s third studio album. The album has sold over 3 million copies in the U.S. since its launch 10 2010.
In July this year, Swift “Speak Now” tour, aimed at promoting the album, sold more tickets through TicketsNow provider any other music artist, bumping McCartney, 69, to second place.
Swift tour represented 6.3 percent of all concert tickets sold at TicketsNow, while McCartney “On The Run” tour was 5.7 percent. U2 was the number three with 4.6 percent, Katy Perry was fourth with 4 percent and Lil Wayne was No. 5 with 3.4 percent. In June, McCartney’s tour sold the most tickets through the provider, while Swift was in second place. However, it was also No. 1 in April.
Currently, the average price of a concert ticket is about Swift and 72.30, while McCartney fans paid an average of 137.67 and to see a former member of The Beatles performed in major American cities North during his recent tour, Pollstar.com reported.
Sales of concerts at TicketsNow Swift was 2.3 percent of all tickets sold in general, placing sixth after Boston Red Sox. Championship U.S. Open Tennis was the main event usually sold in July, representing 19 percent of all ticket sales on TicketsNow.
