Target Stores:WARWICK – Meta Warwick at the mall is on track to reopen on Sunday after the end of March floods forced the closure of the mall. The food court, a contest and some stores in the interior are designed to open on 20 August, the mall owner on Friday.
The renewed focus has been remodeled to provide more choices of foods with fresh meat products and bakery products, the giant retailer based in Minneapolis, said. The remodeled store will have a design open market, allowing customers to select the quantities of food as organic products. The Warwick Mall Target store is one of the two of Warwick.
“Target is delighted to reopen the North Warwick store for our customers,” said Mike Hill, director of real estate destination. “Target has been part of the community for over 10 years, and we are proud to return to quickly open our second store, provide food and supplies and Warwick to help recover from this disaster.”
Elsewhere in the mall, co-owner Aram Garabedian told Providence Business News Friday that workers were laying tiles in the food court and main lobby. He said that when the open areas in late August, it is expected that many of the interior to open stores, too.
JC Penney is expected to reopen on October 1 and Macy’s in the spring of 2011, Garabedian said.
Showcase Cinemas Warwick Mall, a separate building from the shopping center was reopened in April. The Sports Authority, one of the anchors of the mall reopened in May.
The shopping center will celebrate its 40th anniversary in October.
