Tangier Island, Tangier Island is now featured in a series of advertisements ESPN3. The commercials began airing Monday on national television, which brought the audience to distance from the island of the Chesapeake Bay. Renee Tyler, executive director, said in a business that she has “507 inhabitants, a school and no cars.”

Thousands of people watched the eight episodes of the campaign on YouTube on Monday morning.

The Mondia, it will be broadcast during Night Football on ESPN and advertisements are on the Facebook page of ESPN. Richmond-based Martin Agency has created this ad campaign.

It is “the greatest sports city in America per capita,” says the publicity and shows sailors going about their work and it has been characteristic of the runway and the water tower.

Retired journalist John Pruitt, “Electronics allow Tangier to be as in touch as anywhere in the world, for better or for worse.” He grew up on the island and is the founder of Tangier Pride Inc., a nonprofit organization.
