Whitney Houstons Daughter, Whitney Houston’s death is sad, tragic and way too soon, but Whitney’s struggle with drug use and some of the behaviors she’s displayed in the past take some of the shock away from this news. Whitney was staying at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to attend the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party on Saturday night and the Grammys on Sunday. When she showed up for rehearsals on Thursday, many say she displayed erratic behavior and looked disheveled and bloated.

Whitney’s clothes were mismatched and her hair was dripping wet, either from sweat or water. People saw her wandering almost aimlessly through the lobby and she also acted child-like at times, breaking out into skipping like a kid periodically in the ballroom. Calls came in to security that the singer was doing hand-stands out by the pool. According to the LA Times, Whitney’s seen dancing just off camera during interviews at the rehearsals; she was making people laugh.

The singer continued in this fashion until her daughter pulled her from the room. Whitney’s survived by only one child who is now the true victim in this latest tragic news. Whitney and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, is 19 years old.

Whitney’s daughter was at the Grammys supporting her mom; little did she know how devastating this event would turn out. Reports put Whitney and Bobbi Kristina like best friends, so she not only lost her mom, but also her closest pal. While no one knows what caused the death of Whitney as of yet, many surmise it is drug related. If that’s the case, then this is just one more very sad incident of how drugs devastate not only the drug user, but also their loved ones. Drugs leave a ton of wreckage behind.
