What Time Does The Superbowl Start, (AP) – Here’s a Brady Bunch for fans of the NFL: Tom Brady got the 50 votes for MVP. The New England Patriots quarterback on Sunday became the first unanimous choice for the Associated Press NFL Most Valuable Player award since the AP began using a national panel of media members who cover the league. He surpassed himself, too: In 2007, when Brady won his first MVP, he got 49 votes, a voter for Brett Favre. “It’s always flattering to be chosen for a prestigious award,” Brady said. “But I also look like a team award, because nothing in football is done without the mental strength and determination of each player and coach associated with this team.

“I am very honored to be part of an organization where winning comes first, and our goals are based on the success of the team.”

These successes, including three Super Bowl titles over the last 10 years are largely due to the excellence of Brady.

Although he did not put nearly as much as passing notes in ’07, Brady was by far the most powerful in the league leading New England to a 14-2 record, best in the NFL. He had a record streak of 355 throws without being intercepted and passed for 36 affected with only four picks.

Not that the 33-year-old Brady Patriots this season compared to all others.

“Every team, every year is different, he says,” and over 100 practices and many games a team establishes its identity. Change players, change plans, change opponents, which explains why the game is so exciting year to year.

“The fact that 32 teams begin each year with the same goal which is why the popularity of the sport has peaked at all time. The great part about our sport is that nothing is easy, and everywhere where you are at the end of the year is the exact place you deserve to be. ”

Individually, Brady is above all others. The only Patriot to win the award, he and Peyton Manning, his rival for the best quarterback in the NFL, have shared the last four MVP.

Brady followed his MVP trophy before, with a season lost, torn ligaments in his left knee in the first half of the opener in 2008. His return in 2009 was solid, though injuries to his hands and ribs slowed.

This year, even with a sore right foot that required surgery series, Brady was simply dynamic. Twice he threw for four touchdowns in a game four times and had three. Twelve times, he had a passing score at least 100.

And he led a young team in transition with 14 wins.

“Brady is so special because it is such a great leader and all players can relate to him,” team owner Robert Kraft said. “These children (beginners) who come to live in fear of him, but the good thing is that he treats them well.

“He works hard, he studies very hard,” said Kraft. “Being a great quarterback is not only highly qualified. It is the ability to process information quickly, make adjustments, and I think it is fabulous for that.”

As fabulous as it was, Brady, not surprisingly, has some regrets about 2010.

“When the season is over, 31 teams are disappointed with the outcome,” he said. “There is only one champion, and nobody plays this game for second place. Desire and hunger is to win, which never gets old for me. The motivation to get up and work every day for that goal is something that concerns us all.

“Our team has high expectations, and our team will return this year with the same goal,” he said. “Whether or not that leads to a championship season will be determined by the commitment of each player is to do their job the best they can.”

The way Brady did.
