Whale Sailboat:A 40-ton whale that nearly wiped out on a sailboat in South Africa, but luckily nobody was injured. The boat was running without an engine and the whale was breaching the water. He or she apparently did not hear the boat, and crashed into the bottom right. He left behind some fat but not blood and seemed fine. The couple – who teach sailing – also unhurt. Whale Jumping On BoatWhale Jumping On Boat:(Examiner) — According to Yahoo News and London Daily Telegraph reports, forty tons a whale jumped from the sea and landed on the deck of a 33-foot yacht belonging to Ralph Mothes and Werner Paloma, Cape Town Sailing Academy.

A quote from the couple as shown in the Telegraph article, “Miss Werner said:” It was really quite amazing, very scary. The whale was about the same size as the boat. ”

“We had seen about 100 yards away and thought that was the end of it. Then suddenly it was right next to us.

“I figured that was underneath the boat, but emerged from the sea. We were lucky to get through him, because the sheer weight of the thing was huge.

“There were pieces of skin and fat left behind, and the mast was wrecked. It also sets out the gear.

“Thanks to God became the center of steel and fiberglass or could not have been ruined.”

It was a normal day for the husband and wife sailing instructors and Werner Ralph Mothes Paloma. They had carried out his yacht in the waters off the coast of Cape Town, South Africa, when suddenly it happened.

A 40-ton Southern Right whales breached the surface at the exit of the port side of the boat. The impressive overview would have been nice, but unfortunately before the whale could splash in the water, practically collapsed on the boat to sail.

The image of the whale nearly vertical dwarfing the boat is one of the most viewed photos in the web today. The whale hits boat picture below. It’s no Photoshop trick either. Mothes appeared on The Today Show this morning, and this is what he had to say about the incident:

“Suddenly I saw this huge monster way to get out of the water on my port side … just happened in an instant. It was pretty scary.”

Luckily nobody was hurt, but the ship seemed to buckle under the enormous weight of the animal. PEOPLE reports that the mast broke like a wooden match, and part of the cabin was damaged.

As for the whale, he did leave behind some barnacles and fat, but the absence of blood leaves observers expect that this technique did not suffer serious injury.

After reading about this, a thought came to mind: Why did not the boat was full of Nissho Maru captain and fishing buddies?
