Wral Weather, The WRAL Raleigh Christmas Parade 2010 begins this morning, and is the 66th annual celebration organized by the team at Channel 5. Bill Lesley, Kelcey Carlson, and Brian Shrader will report on this annual celebration and you provide what is sure to be a very festive event. Read along some tips on how to prepare for the television event of three hours long. Remember, you can still watch television.
For starters, the parking deck is totally free for the Raleigh Christmas parade which begins at 2010 Hillsborough Street and St. Mary’s. The road is fairly simple, especially if you intend to walk along the parade passing. The point where it begins, the road takes you directly to the Capitol, hooks right onto Salisbury with a sharp turn to Morgan, and finally ends in Fayetteville Street. Not bad at all, and it is for some great exercise.
The unique thing about the 2010 Raleigh Christmas Parade is the wide variety of costumes and floats that define the event wonderful family. Sit back and watch streaming bands, swirls, and more to help bring in the holiday spirit.
And as the largest parade between Atlanta and Washington DC, the parade WRAL Raleigh Christmas 2010 events suggest that planners along the road to prepare for cold weather. WRAL forecast calls for clear skies, but temperatures that plunge to the bottom 50 with a maximum of only 65. Burr! Thus, the button up, sipping a coconut, take lots of pictures and have a ball at the 66th Annual WRAL Raleigh Christmas Parade 2010.
