Tim Tebow Not Qb Body TypeTim Tebow Not Qb Body Type, had to end sometime. There were no fourth quarter heroics left in Tim Tebow today as the Broncos rookie fell short against the mighty Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. The game began in the Broncos favour, as Tebow powered an early 17-6 lead. But the Patriots, now unbeaten in six games, mounted a comeback of their own to mow down the Broncos in Denver and capture the AFC division title.

After the game, Tebow told the Denver Post: ‘Ultimately you’re judged on wins and losses. It’s disappointing we came away with a loss, but I know there’s a lot of things we can build on.’

He added: ‘We know in every phase we can get a little bit better.’

Tebow has emerged as a controversial figure in recent weeks for his strong religious beliefs, and post-game praise of his ‘Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.’

Brady has also grabbed his fair share of headlines over the past few years with his arm as well as his high-profile marriage to supermodel and Victoria’s Secret stunner Gisele Bundchen.

The Patriots have made the playoffs for the third straight year, and the ninth time in the last 11 years.

The Broncos are 7-2 since Tebow started taking snaps this year.

Six of Tebow’s seven victories have involved second-half comebacks, five of them necessitating fourth-quarter rallies, three of which went to overtime.

No other quarterback in NFL history has produced six fourth-quarter comebacks in his first 11 NFL starts.

Tim Tebow may have been stopped on the field, but the Tom Brady and the New England Patriots can’t slow down his book sales.

The Broncos quarterback’s popularity has led to a surge in sales of his memoir, Through My Eyes: A Quarterback’s Journey.

The book came out on May 31 and enjoyed solid sales, but returned to the best seller list three weeks ago… reaching as high as No. 8.

As the ‘Tebowing’ craze captures the nation, stores are finding that they can’t keep the book on the shelves.

HarperCollins Senior Vice President Lisa Sharkey told the New York Post: ‘We have to go back to reprint practically every day.’

Broncos coach John Fox has said that Tebow has ‘competitive greatness. He wants the ball in clutch time.’

Tebow’s penitent pre-game prayer stance has led to a ‘Tebowing’ craze that is sweeping the nation.

Last week, four high school students on New York’s Long Island were suspended after ‘Tebowing’ in the school hallways.

Jordan Fulcoly, Wayne Drexel, Tyler Carroll and Connor Carroll were suspended for a day because they were blocking the hallway and presenting a safety hazard to students, Riverhead High School officials said.

Tebow later commended the students on their courage and boldness, but told Fox Sports that they need to follow the rules.

He said: ‘You have to respect the position of authority and people that God’s put as authority over you’.

Two of the four suspensions were later rescinded because school officials decided those pupils had not been given the same warnings as the other two, reported ESPN New York.

The jokers at Saturday Night Live even embraced the Tebow phenomenon this weekend in a skit where Jesus visits the Broncos locker room and asks the young quarterback to ‘take it down a notch’.

He also cautioned the team to be wary of the Patriots, saying, ‘If I’m the son of God, Tom Brady’s the guy’s nephew.’

But if it’s any consolation to Tebow, his popularity has led to a surge in sales of his memoir, Through My Eyes: A Quarterback’s Journey.

The book came out on May 31 and enjoyed solid sales, but returned to the best seller list three weeks ago… reaching as high as No. 8.
