Prince Charles Attacked, (AP) – Protesters angry at London attacked a vehicle carrying Prince Charles, heir to the British throne, and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

A photographer from Associated Press reporter saw demonstrators shot the car in Regent Street in the heart of the shopping district of London. The car then sped off.

Charles office, Clarence House has confirmed that “Their Royal Highnesses car was attacked by protesters in the way of their engagement at the London Palladium tonight, but their Royal Highnesses are safe.”

The couple arrived at the research compound in the theater, where they attended a Royal Variety Performance.

The angry demonstrators against rising tuition fees are huge battles with police and smashing windows in London, after lawmakers in the House of Commons approved a plan to triple the university fees of £ 9000 (and 14,000) by year.

Thousands of students staged a peaceful demonstration, but a minority turned violent, throwing sticks and stones at riot police, smashing shop windows and set fire to a giant Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square.
