The Ellen Degeneres Show, Will Ellen wear the bikini? On The Ellen DeGeneres show today we have Cee-Lo Green guesting on the show along with model Miranda Kerr (who’s married to Orlando Bloom and a mother to their son, Flynn). We’ll be seeing her photos from Victoria Secret’s 2012 Swimsuit Collection. We’ve got all this and more from The Ellen DeGeneres Show only here on Nerdles!

Ellen opens the show by displaying some audience member’s more embarrassing Facebook photos. Check this one out of Heather Cassidy:

Ellen,-4.9.12,-2 Ellen points our her pretty eyes, her pretty lips, and that’s it – leaving the obvious for us to laugh about to ourselves. Because the audience member’s were such good sports, Ellen gives them each a Samsung Galaxy Tab! Ellen is the best!

Now it’s time to play “What’s on Cee-lo’s Lap?”!!! A live edition to be played with Cee-lo himself a little later on the show! But first Ellen reveals a deleted scene from the recently re-released film, Titanic 3D (it’s the scene where Rose poses n*de and Ellen joins in on the drawing, coloring, painting, and yes, spray painting). It’s hilarious.

Cee-lo Green now graces the set of Ellen with the most extravagant entrance and entourage ever on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. He is single at the moment as Ellen asks him about his love for women. He says when he falls in love again, “I’ll obey it [love] when it happens.” Ellen comments on Cee-lo on The Voice, how we get to see a more humorous side of Cee-lo that we normally get to see. Cee-lo Green also talks about doing the movie “Sparkle” with the late great Whitney Houston. When we return from the break, we’ll be playing “What’s on Cee-lo’s Lap” live!!!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show

The Ellen DeGeneres Show, In the wake of the overturning of the controversial Proposition 8, Ellen DeGeneres shares her happiness with the audience on her talk show. She expresses her joy during the monologue on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” in an episode which airs February 8.

“There was some good news for marriage equality in California yesterday,” she tells the viewers. “For a long time, same-sex marriage was not legal. Then, here in California, it was legal for like 25 minutes. Then it was not legal again because of something called Prop 8, which banned same-sex marriage.”

“And I’m happy to say that yesterday an appeals court ruled that Prop 8 was unconstitutional,” the 54-year-old host continues. “I’m sure the people who oppose it will try to appeal it – but it’s a step in the right direction. So I’m happy.”

From talking about the Prop 8, DeGeneres moves on to her next subject, the One Million Moms protest. “Normally I try not to pay attention to my haters – but this time I’d like to talk about it because my haters are my motivators,” she claims.

“This organization doesn’t think I should be the spokesperson because I’m gay,” she gives the audience a quick overview of how the protest against her arose. “They wanted to get me fired and I’m proud and happy to say that JC Penney stuck by their decision to make me their spokesperson.”

Calling JC Penney’s decision to defend her “great news,” she jokingly reasons, “Because I also need some new crew socks. I’m really going to clean up with this discount.” She adds, “I mean, if they have a problem with spokespeople, what about the Pillsbury doughboy? He runs around without any pants on, basically begging for people to poke his belly. What kind of message is that?”

On a more serious note, DeGeneres comments on the statement posted on One Million Mom Facebook page. “After JC Penney didn’t back down I thought the story would be over. It’s going to go away. Heard about it last week and it did not go away. The group has posted a message on their Facebook page,” she says.

The statement read, “By jumping on the pro-gay bandwagon, JC Penney is attempting to gain a new target market and in the process will lose customers with traditional values that have been faithful to them over all these years. The majority of JC Penney shoppers will be offended and choose to no longer shop there.”

“First of all, being gay or pro-gay isn’t a bandwagon. You don’t get a free ride anywhere. There’s no music. And occasionally we’ll sing ‘We Are Family’ but that’s about it,” she comments. “Secondly, they said a majority of JC Penney shoppers will be offended and not shop there anymore. I’d like to read just a few comments from the Million Moms Facebook page.”
