Terrell Owens Allen Wranglers, Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens has joined the Indoor Football League’s Allen Wrangers. Fans of the Indoor Football League, the home of the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks, have been told to get their popcorn ready.

Former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens announced on Twitter Wednesday night that he will join the IFL’s Allen Wranglers as a co-owner and player.

The Wranglers are a member of the league’s Intense Conference and are not scheduled to play the Steelhawks, who play in the United Conference, during the regular season.

Owens made his announcement on his Twitter account and posted a corresponding video on beeyoo.com.

“It’s official, it just went down, I’m headed back to Texas,” said Owens, a 15-year NFL veteran, in the video. “That’s right, IFL, here I come. Allen, Texas, here I come. I’m going to be me.”
The initial Twitter message read:

“The WAIT IS OVER!! GETCHA POPCORN READY!!”

Owens, who was drafted with the 89th pick overall in the third round of the 1996 NFL Draft, has played for five teams in his career. That includes the 21 games with Philadelphia Eagles as he aided the team to an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX.

With his NFL career seemingly over, Owens ranks second in career receiving yards with 15,934, fourth in touchdowns with 156 and sixth in catches with 1,078.

Jack Roush Plane CrashJack Roush Plane Update, (ABC News) — NASCAR team owner Jack Roush is in stable condition and being treated for injuries not life threatening, he suffered in a plane crash last week.

Roush was flying the Beechcraft Premier business in the Experimental Aircraft Association AirVenture show in Oshkosh Wittman aerodrome, Wisconsin. The plane crashed around 6:15 according to CDT CEA.

The plane was carrying a passenger, Brenda Strickland, a friend of Roush, according to spokeswoman Lori Roush Fenway Racing Halbeisen. Both Roush and Strickland walked away from the accident and were taken to a local hospital.

‘He was conscious when he was admitted to the hospital, “said Halbeisen ABCNews.com.

As of this morning, said the condition Halbeisen Roush was “serious but stable.”

“All wounds are not fatal,” he said.

Strickland also seems to be fine.

“She is being treated for injuries not life threatening,” said Halbeisen.

Halbeisen said it was not yet a timetable for his recovery because the doctors are still evaluating their condition. Roush family is with him now, and still has not spoken to anyone at Roush Fenway Racing.

The National Transportation and Safety Board is investigating the accident. Halbeisen said there was no information regarding the cause of the crash landing.

Roush has three aircraft have been flying for many years, Halbeisen said. One of these planes is a time of World War II era P-51 Mustang, according to the Associated Press.

“It’s a very experienced pilot,” said Halbeisen.
