Supreme Court Philippines, An Ateneo de Manila University graduate topped the 2011 Bar Examination. The Supreme Court said that the Ateneo law graduate — Raoul Angelo Atadero — garnered the highest mark of 85.5363%, besting 1,912 other law students who passed the examination.

Atadero was followed by Luz Danielle Bolong, another Ateneo law graduate, in the Top 10 with a score of 84.5563%.

The other law graduates who made it to the Top 10 were Cherry Liez Rafal-Roble, Arellano University (84.4550%); Rosemil Ba?aga, Notre Dame University (84.1226%); Christian Louie Gonzales, University of Santo Tomas (84.0938%); Ivan Bandal, Siliman University (84.0901%); Eireene Xina Acosta, San Beda College (84.0663%); Irene Marie Qua, Ateneo de Manila University (84.0575%), Elaine Marie Laceda, Far Eastern University-DLSU (Jurist Doctor-MBA) (84.0401%); and Rodolfo Aquino, San Beda College (83.7276%).

SC spokesman Midas Marquez had announced yesterday that a total of 1,913 law graduates passed last year’s Bar exams that featured for the first time multiple-choice questions.

Marquez said the number of passers represented 31.95 percent of the total 5,990 candidates who took the tests on four Sundays of November last year at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.
