Steve Slater, (The Hollywood Gossip) — Former JetBlue flight attendant Steve Slater pleaded not guilty today in court on charges of reckless endangerment, criminal conduct and criminal trespass stemming from his resignation Monday afternoon fun angry.

For those who learn first in history: around noon, Slater, a veteran of 20 years in the industry, quietly tried to tell a woman on a flight to remain seated until the plane rolled to a complete stop.

She responded by ignoring him and telling him to “f-ck Off”, a gesture that caused Slater to fit. He got on the intercom, returned the insults and slid down the emergency channel for security … until the police picked him up in his house a couple of hours later.

Using a lame argument, District Attorney Richard Brown DA argued in court the following:

“The emergency slide deployed to 3,000 pounds per square inch in seconds and can easily injure or kill other ground staff in the asphalt that ignore the parachute is activated. This would have been a very different appearance if someone had been standing duct under the emergency when deployment. ”

In response, Slater’s counsel simply asked why his client was being prosecuted for a hypothetical: “No one under the window” when the tube was released, Howard Turman said.

Meanwhile, a Facebook page in honor of Slater has created – and already has over 15,000 members! As a significant percentage of THG readers, many of them support Steven. Above all fellow flight attendants.

Wrote one: “Congratulations to you, I’m a former flight attendant and I only wish he had the nerve to do what he did !!!!!!”
