Stephen Colbert Super PAC

Stephen Colbert Super PACStephen Colbert Super PAC, Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart continued their satirical assault on the ridiculous “loopchasms” in the Federal Election Commission laws on super PACs yesterday. The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC released a new attack ad narrated by Samuel L. Jackson, who warns voters to support Herman Cain and not that “East Coast Hollywood Elite who is exploring a run for President of the United States of South Carolina.” Jackson has had just about enough of his shenanigans: “I have had it with these money-grubbing superPACs messing with our Monday to Friday elections.” After all, you can’t trust a man with a silent “T” in his name.

On his show last night, Colbert dived into the shady tax returns of the ever-thinning Republican field, as well as bask in the warm glow of his favorable polling numbers. After demanding Ron Paul release the treasure map to his chest of gold, Colbert called on the other Republican candidates to drop out and support a Charleston Dandy:

Best of all, Colbert is really going to ride the Cain Train this weekend: he announced that he is co-holding “TS-EX- ROCK ME LIKE A S-EX-RMAN CAIN: SOUTH CAIN-OLINA PRIMARY RALLY” with Cain this Friday, January 20th at 1:00 P.M. at the College of Charleston. “Herman is the only former candidate who truly shares my values. It’s like our values were separated at birth. And our ethics are at least first cousins,” Jr. Exploratory Committee Chairman Stephen T. Colbert said of Cain. He added that any questions should be directed to Yahoo Answers: “They always know everything.”
