Robert Creamer

beck_creamerRobert Creamer:I bet you can even tell me what color dress the female White House “crasher” was wearing. Everyone focused on them, but there was another guest there that no one noticed — well, almost no one. Andrew Breitbart called me with this story over the weekend. It’s up on BigGovernment.com right now.

The other guest was convicted felon, Robert Creamer. Who is Robert Creamer? Well, first of all, he is the husband of a Democratic congresswoman from Illinois:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REP. JAN SCHAKOWSKY, D-ILL.: And next to me was a guy from the insurance company who then argued against the public health insurance option, saying it wouldn’t let private insurance compete. That a public option will put the private insurance industry out of business and lead to single-payer.

(APPLAUSE)

My single-payer friends, he was right. The man was right.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Creamer also used to be the leader of an ACORN-tied left-wing group called Citizen Action Illinois. But, the FBI began investigating him for bank fraud and tax evasion and he stepped down.

In 2006, he was convicted and served a year and a half in federal prison and house arrest. While in prison, Creamer wrote a lengthy manual: “Listen to Your Mother: Stand Up Straight! How Progressives Can Win.”

Are you with me so far?

A convicted felon, who was invited to the White House for a state dinner — that alone is exceptionally rare. But even more interesting is that in his prison manual, Creamer laid out a “Progressive Agenda for Structural Change,” which included a 10-point plan for foisting universal health care on the American people in 2009.

Again, remember what his wife, representative Schakowsky said:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

REP. JAN SCHAKOWSKY, D-ILL.: A public option will put the private insurance industry out of business and lead to single-payer.

(APPLAUSE)

My single-payer friends, he was right.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

OK? Now, see if any of the points Creamer laid out in his manifesto, sound familiar. Point No. 1: “We must create a national consensus that health care is a right, not a commodity; and that government must guarantee that right.”

Here’s what Barack Obama said in the second presidential debate last year:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

TS-EX-N-PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE BARACK OBAMA: I think it should be a right for every American.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Health care is not a right. It is not in the Constitution. Progressives like FDR wanted a second Bill of Rights that would make it a right — along with creating a right to a job and a right to a house — but that of course, would fundamentally change our country.

Next point on Creamer’s list: “We must create a national consensus that the health care system is in crisis.”

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OBAMA: The need for reform is urgent and it is indisputable.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

That’s all we’re hearing right now: Our current system is in crisis. Despite the fact that 80 percent of Americans are happy with their current health care insurance — 80 percent. Does that sound like a crisis to you?

Still, from his federal prison cell, Creamer had more suggestions for health care reform: “Our messaging program over the next two years should focus heavily on reducing the credibility of the health insurance industry and focusing on the failure of private health insurance.”

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

OBAMA: If you’re worried about rationed care, higher costs, denied coverage or bureaucrats getting between you and your doctor, then you should know that’s what’s happening right now. In the past three years, over 12 million Americans were discriminated against by insurance companies due to a preexisting condition or saw their coverage denied or dropped just when they got sick and needed it most. Americans whose jobs and health care are secure today just don’t know if they’ll be next to join the 14,000 who lose their health insurance every single day.

OBAMA: One man from Illinois lost his coverage in the middle of chemotherapy because his insurer found that he hadn’t reported gallstones that he didn’t even know about. They delayed his treatment and he died because of it.”

(END VIDEO CLIPS)

Truth is that man actually received health care and live another three or four years.

They can’t even find a truthful example of a health care sob story; they had to make it up. But why would they worry about the truth when the entire game plan on health care was designed by a convicted felon?

By the way, a better way to report the 14,000 losing health insurance would be this: About 14,000 people a day lose their jobs — thus they lost their health care insurance. Maybe the president should worry about jobs instead.

But that’s not part of the prison plan: “We need to systematically forge relationships with large sectors of the business/employer community.”

They have. Amazingly, the administration has even teamed up with big pharmaceuticals to sell this debacle. So much so John McCain spoke out:

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

SEN. JOHN MCCAIN, R-ARIZ.: I don’t know what deal has been cut in Senator Reid’s office as the deal was cut with the pharmaceutical companies and the deal was cut with the AMA and the deal was cut with the hospital association.

MCCAIN: I know what the deal was with pharma: They told them they would oppose drug re-importation from Canada. And they told them that pharma they would not allow competition for Medicare patients. So I don’t know what the deal was cut that bought them, so I know deals have been going on but I know they are unsavory.

(END VIDEO CLIPS)

Notice, throughout this entire game plan, not once is there any concern for actual facts. It’s just about getting health care done, with no regard for what’s actually happening.

Next goal: “We need to convince political leaders that they owe their elections, at least in part, to the groundswell of support of universal health care, and that they face political peril if they fail to deliver on universal health care in 2009.”

Did they do that?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

ANDY STERN, PRESIDENT OF SEIU: We’re trying to use the power of persuasion. And if that doesn’t work we’re going to use the persuasion of power.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Nevermind the fact that the “groundswell” of support amounts to a whopping 35 percent for this plan, just a tick better than Hillary-care in the ’90s.

The pressure that has been brought to bear on politicians has been unbelievable. Pelosi, Reid and Obama have threatened and arm-twisted their way through nearly everyone in Washington. The president himself has met with “Blue Dog” Democrats to let them know their political futures are on the line. They’re also buying off people in their own party, like Senator Mary Landrieu with a $300 million deal for Louisiana.

Next: “We need not agree in advance on the components of a plan, but we must foster a process that can ultimately yield consensus.”

In this 2000-page bill, as you can see with the abortion diversion on Monday, they don’t agree on the components of the plan because most in Congress don’t even know the components of the plan. All they want to do is get it passed now, so that they can tweak it to fit whatever they want later.

Next: “Over the next two years, we must design and organize a massive national field program.”

Unions, Organizing for America, ACORN, Health Care for America Now (HCAN) and others including AARP have jumped on board.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

HCAN NARRATOR: The health insurance industry makes $25 billion a year in profit. No wonder the insurance lobby spent millions trying to stop the Senate from even debating health insurance reform.

HCAN NARRATOR: It’s about taking on the insurance companies, making health care affordable for our families, no more denying coverage if you’re sick.

AARP NARRATOR: Special interest groups are trying to block progress on health care reform, derailing the debate with myths and scare tactics.

(END VIDEO CLIPS)

Myths and scare tactics? SEIU has been delivering beatdowns for health care and the political equivalent has been delivered to Walmart and Comcast.

Next: “We must focus especially on the mobilization of the labor movement and the faith community.”

Again, they’ve enlisted Andy Stern and SEIU to mobilize their arm-twisting effort, as well as convincing rabbis and pastors to preach the health reform gospel from the pulpit. Ask yourself this question: In the last six months, have you heard this message come from your pastor, priest or rabbi? If so, point number 8 has been achieved. I have been on major church Web sites. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing: Within three clicks you are at HCAN!

Here’s the next goal: “We must systematically leverage the connections and resources of a massive array of institutions and organizations of all types.”

Gee where have I heard this before?

(BEGIN AUDIO CLIP)

OBAMA: One of the, I think the tragedies of the civil rights movement was because the civil rights movement became so court focused, I think, that there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change.

(END AUDIO CLIP)

We are up to No. 10: “To be successful, we must put in place commitments for hundreds of millions of dollars to be used to finance paid communications and mobilization once the battle is joined.”

The amount of money and number of organizations they have gathered for this fight is stunning: The SEIU spent $60 million to elect Obama; HCAN has donated $25 million in the last year to help pass health care. But they need that money to combat the will of the vast majority of the American people.

Creamer added: “To win we must not just generate understanding, but emotion-fear, revulsion, anger, disgust.”

Have they done that?

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

OBAMA: If that same diabetic ends up getting their foot amputated, that’s $30,000, $40,000, $50,000 — immediately the surgeon is reimbursed.

OBAMA: You know what, I make a lot more money if I take this kid’s tonsils out.

DNC NARRATOR: Now desperate Republicans and their well-funded allies are organizing angry mobs, just like they did during the election.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Obama and Pelosi have dealt in the politics of fear since the Inauguration, while accusing the “right” of doing exactly that. The Obama administration is trying to stir up emotion, revulsion and fear to peddle this massive government takeover. In the process, they have seemingly followed Robert Creamer’s plan to the letter.

Maybe it’s pure coincidence; just as it could be pure coincidence that Creamer seems to follow the tactics of radical Saul Alinksy to the letter. Wait, no — in his book, he credits Saul Alinsky as an inspiration.

Maybe it’s just pure coincidence that Creamer predicted that this would all happen in 2009 after a “progressive” president was elected and that he went right to work for the Obama campaign, after prison, training volunteers at Camp Obama.

And, it could also be an amazing coincidence that he turned up at the White House’s first state dinner, when convicted felons are usually barred from such events and that no one noticed because, coincidentally, someone else sneaked into the party?

Maybe it’s just pure coincidence. But instead of speculating, there is an easy way to shut all of this down. The White House can call my red phone and give me another explanation. I know they won’t do that; they’ll just attack the messenger and leave the message wide open.

Call the red phone.

I know they are watching. These shouldn’t be difficult questions to answer:

• Did you know that this man was a criminal while he trained volunteers at camp Obama? This would be the 2nd person whose done jail time that you’ve hire

• Did you know about this book or was it sheer coincidence you follow the game plan in it to the letter?

• Is it just a coincidence this guy shows up at state dinner?

• Did the Secret Service bring up that he is a convicted felon and, if they did, who OK’d a convicted felon to attend the state dinner?

I don’t believe in coincidence. There comes a point to where the excuses of the White House just don’t fly anymore:

• I didn’t know my preacher of 20 years was a Marxist

• I didn’t know my green jobs “czar” defended cop killers and was a communist

• I didn’t know my science “czar” wanted to put sterilants in drinking water and impose forced abortions

• I didn’t know my communications director loved Chairman Mao

• I didn’t know that reality star wannabes were crashing the state dinner

• I didn’t know a convicted felon progressive activist was also at the state dinner

What jury in America would believe this? None. But, as they say in TV: Wait, there’s more!
