Scream Awards 2011Scream Awards 2011, HBO shows have dominated the Scream Awards 2011. At the ceremony held on Saturday, October 15, two of the favorite network series, “Game of Thrones” and “True Blood” took home three individual congratulations.

“Thrones” grabbed the coveted title of Best TV show, beating fellow HBO series “True Blood”, FOX’s “Fringe” AMC’s “The Walking Dead” and the BBC “Doctor Who”. Peter Dinklage, who recently won an Emmy for his role in the series rookie, was also named Best Actor at the last event.

The third victory of “Thrones” was obtained by a presentation of Daenerys Targaryen Emilia Clarke. The British beauty 24 years old, grabbed the prize in the performance of work – female category.

Coming out as the winner in the performance of work – Male category was Joe Manganiello who plays Alcides in “True Blood”. His co-star Alexander Skarsgard, was awarded the Best Actor kudo Horror. The fantasy series also felt that the best set.

Another TV show that had its moment of glory at the awards event was “Doctor Who”. Despite losing their chance to win the award for Best TV Show, managed to help Matt Smith claim the title of Best Actor science fiction.

The Scream Awards 2011, which celebrates the best of science fiction, horror and fantasy, will air Tuesday, October 18 at 9 pm ET / PT on Spike TV. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II” was the big winner in the film with the title last Scream, among others.
