Mtv Skins, “Skins,” an MTV program, generated much controversy after its release in the United States, to the extent that an organization of that country asked the authorities to investigate whether their content could be classified as child pornography.The website TMZ.com published today that the Council of Parents Television, who called the series, whose premiere was on Monday, as “the most dangerous program ever delivered,” wrote the U.S. justice department and the Senate to show their concern.

In a statement posted on its official website set examples of dialogues in the series, in which was described as “ridiculous” not had sex before age 16 years and stated: “I only like the best drugsā€.

The reporting entity in the series dozens of times when inappropriate language is used and where they appear minor having sex and taking drugs, among other activities involving an “inappropriate material” for the audience it is directed.

MTV itself has admitted that the program, which is a version of the British format, there are children having sex and using different drugs.

The actors say that this format is not the message you want to send the series.

“I do not think that what matters is the sex and drugs. Throughout the season the most important are the relationships that are what most attract the teenagers,” said Black-D’Elia Sofia, cast member in Speaking to the MTV website. “‘Skins’ is about friendship and how the characters grow,” he added.

Daniel Flaherty, another actor in the series, said the program reflects a reality in the U.S.

“There are kids like that in America. They love to party, to disobey their parents, taking the pills and drugs that are … not all America is, but definitely there are young people like this,” said the interpreter.
