Siegfried And Roy

Siegfried And RoySiegfried And Roy, It’s not every day you go to a birthday party with lions, tigers and dolphins. Roy Horn, the famous Las Vegas magician duo Siegfried & Roy, celebrated his birthday at the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage last night. I had the opportunity to take photos of the couple, enjoy snacks and see all the wild animals.

During the party, which had a nice time walking through the lion and tiger garden with my boyfriend. Each time I visited the habitat, nearly all of the animals slept. Because cats are nocturnal animals, got to see the tigers fight (joking, of course!) And run through its green areas.

I suggest you visit the habitat garden close at night because that is when you really get to see the cats play.

I also had a blast see the dolphins splashing in the water. I always like to see these playful and curious mammals. If only I could have these guys come to my birthday party – that would be the dream.

After enjoying a few rounds of cocktails and raspberry lemonade risotto bites, we learned that Siegfried & Roy has a new movie, “Siegfried & Roy: The Magic Box IMAX 3-D”, the release of this month. We had the opportunity to see the first screening inside the Terry Fator Theatre.

Narrated by Anthony Hopkins, the 50-minute documentary shares the story of how Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn got into show business.

The film shows Horn’s love for animals and a passion for magic at a young age Fischbacher. There was definitely a lot of entertainment spots throughout the film – especially learning how the duo met at a cruise line and see them progress to the world-famous magicians to be made. I also liked seeing the wild cats pop off the screen, thanks to 3-D technology.

“The IMAX screen 10 meters high – I can not even watch on TV,” he joked before the screening Fischbacher.

The night ended with the audience singing “Happy Birthday” Horn in the theater and had the opportunity to celebrate with birthday cake filled with delicious berry.

While the duo ended their show at the Mirage for eight years, the spirit of Siegfried & Roy definitely still alive. And just walk through the Secret Garden is reminiscent of the impact these artists had on the Strip in Las Vegas.
