Scott Brown Cosmopolitan 1982Scott Brown Cosmopolitan 1982, U.S. Senator Scott Brown started in attack mode yesterday against Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s favorite, but ended up shooting himself in the foot with a Zinger ruled that even some conservatives called a “faux pas at Biden” – a reference to the notorious gaffe prone to vice president.

“Thank God,” Brown said on the radio yesterday morning WZLX in response to Warren’s joke on Tuesday that paying for college, “Well, I kept my clothes,” elbowed in the much-derided 1982 Brown released in Cosmopolitan.

The Republican Senator Warren offensive continues strong performance in Tuesday’s debate Herald UMass-Lowell/Boston Democratic primaries.

Conservatives in Washington, DC, blogger Jim Treacher Brown calls attempted in the lightness of “Biden gaffe level,” but said that shows the truck driving truck barn coat type is ramping up his campaign against Warren even before that voters elect a Democratic candidate.

Added Democratic consultant Matt Bennett, “The debate finally threw it in a different category for it. … They are recognizing perhaps a little late that someone is taken into account. This is not just someone who can film one side. ”

Warren Brown shook comments yesterday, saying: “I will survive a few of Scott Brown jabs about my appearance.” She did not ask for an apology and a voice does not regret her own observation.

“I was responding to a question about Scott Brown takes his clothes,” said Warren told the Herald. A student panelist referred to the Cosmo spread by asking how the Democratic candidates paid for college. Warren added: “I worked my way through college and no respect did the same.”

Women’s groups, Democrats and even conservatives were outraged.

“What a silly thing to say,” said Judson Phillips, founder of the Tea Party of the Nation, adding that Brown already has strayed far from his base of Tea Party for being too moderate.

As Warren earned positive reviews for her performance in the debate, Brown’s campaign went into overdrive this week cast him as a creator of jobs hard work, while the paint Warren as an elitist ivory tower.

After delivering his scorn on WZLX yesterday, Brown said: “You know what, listen: The bottom line is, you know, I did not go to Harvard, you know, I went to the school of life, and I did everything had to do to pay for school.”Warren, Harvard law professor, attended the University of Houston and Rutgers Law School. Brown went to Tufts.

That the strategy of the city against dress could work, said Glenn Reynolds, Instapundit.com a conservative blogger, who said that Warren is still a largely unknown quantity to voters of the State of Bahia.

A survey sponsored by the University of Massachusetts atLowell and the Herald showed that 37 percent of voters have not even heard of Warren.

“You are using the most effective tactic – hitting a blue blood out of contact Harvard University. I hope this will be the theme throughout,” said Reynolds.
