San Antonio EarthquakeSan Antonio Earthquake, Small and rare South Texas earthquake has shaken off the homes of San Antonio. The U.S.

Geological Survey measured 4.6-magnitude earthquake Thursday morning. The earthquake began at 7:24 am and was centered about 50 miles south-southeast of San Antonio between Pleasanton and the City of Karnes. nThere were no reports of injuries or damage.

The earthquake was felt in Wilson County, Atascosa County and Bexar County. It was the largest in the area has felt since April 9, 1993 when a 4.3 earthquake shook the area, said Amy Vaughn of the U.S. Geological Survey.

Experts analyze the data, and the size can be adjusted after further analysis. In January 2010, a magnitude 2.6 earthquake occurred in the area, the last of the story.  If you want more precise details, go to earthquake.usgs.gov.
