Ronni Chasen, Ronni Chasen, one of the best known publishers of the film industry, was shot dead today near Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California, police said.

Authorities said she was shot in the chest shortly before 12:30 am and Mercedes-Benz E350 sedan struck a light pole. Chasen died less than an hour later at Cedars-Sinai, Los Angeles Medical Center. Police have not yet announced any suspects or possible motives.

According to an article run in the Wall Street Journal, the investigators have seized computers from businesses Chasen, Chasen & Co., following his shooting.

The 64-year-old Chasen worked as a publicist for a number of Oscar-winning films and the winners of applicants in recent years, as “On Golden Pond” and “Wall Street. The money never sleeps”

According to Variety, Chasen had been working on a campaign to boost the soundtrack of the movie “Burlesque” starring Cher and Christina Aguilera, for a possible Oscar nomination.

Chasen clearly loved the movies, the thrill of the hunt for Oscar, and the party with the stars. In her case, she looked lively on, which connects journalists with talent and making sure the word about what the film project he was pushing.
