Ron Paul, Republican, Texas, followed suit, writing a blogpost on Sunday, entitled ” Ask the right questions and face the truth. ”
In it, the congressman said the motivation for the September 11 terrorist attacks was not a Muslim attack on the way life is lived in the West but because the U.S. is the occupying force abroad.

“We must be honest with ourselves. What would we do if another country such as China, that what we do all the countries over there?” Paul asked. “If you were to imagine for a moment how you would feel if a country occupied by the force of the United States had military bases and soldiers present at our places of origin, you can begin to understand why so upset foreign occupation people, “Paul wrote.

But in the debate on Monday night party CNN / tea in Florida, Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum had none at all, forcing Paul to answer for himself the day after the nniversary 10 September 11.

Former Pennsylvania senator questioned Paul’s message, calling it irresponsible and saying. “They were attacked by our actions that we want to kill us for who we are and what we represent.”

Paul emphatically disagrees, saying that these feelings keep us in danger, and that as long as we believe them. Some in the audience cheered, others booed.
